Distribution:

Northern KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa and adjacent Swaziland.

Distribution & Habitat:

Dry scrub on rocky slopes or cliffs along the Lebombo Range.

Description:

A medium sized cycad to about 4m, with 2m long dark, glossy green leaves. Very similar to [Encephalartos lebomboensis], and [Encephalartos msinganus].

Culture:

Lightly shaded, very well drained position.
