Distribution & Habitat:

Hispaniola

Description:

A medium-sized solitary palm with a smooth, grey trunk that is distinctly swollen in middle, and long, graceful, pinnate leaves.

Culture:

Sunny, well drained position. Drought tolerant. Very slow growing.
