Pacific Beauty palm

Habitat:[edit]

Wet rainforest on Bonin Island.

Description:[edit]

A tall, slender emergent palm to about 15m, with a prominently ringed trunk, long arching leaves, and a whitish waxy crown shaft.

Culture:[edit]

Full sun, and lots of water. A very strong grower, that is proving to be very popular in south-east Queensland.
