Distribution & Habitat:[edit]

Rainforest, and stream banks of north-east New Caledonia.

Description:[edit]

Slender, solitary, emergent feather palm to about 15 metres. It has a very long crown shaft, and produces a mass of inflorescences.

Cultivation:[edit]

Very rarely cultivated, and very slow growing when done so. Would probably prefer sheltered, shady, moist conditions.
