Habitat:

Lowland rainforest, eastern Madagascar.

Description:

A solitary or clustering sub-canopy palm to 3 m high, with large, entire, light green leaves, and a golden yellow inflorescence.

General:

A critically endangered palm.


Culture:

From the description of its habitat, it would probably like moist, well drained sheltered conditions.
