Common Names:


Distribution & Habitat:

Grows in central-east Paraguay, near to the Amambay mountains, in pure fine white sand.


Small to medium sized solitary palm without rigid leaves and long petioles. Grows in large stands.


Sunny, sandy, well drained position. Drought and frost resistant.
