Distribution & Habitat:

Endemic to Colombia, in the province of Santander, where it has two distinct populations.


A medium sized cycad to about 2m tall, with leaves to 1m long.


This plant was named after the genus ', because it has far more similarities to that genus, than to most other Zamias


Sunny, well drained position.
