Distribution & Habitat:

Found in rainforest on the Fijian Islands of Viti Levu, Kandavu, and Ovalau.

Description:

A slender, tall palm to about 15 m., with long arching fronds, and widely spaced leaflets.

General:

Not very commonly grown.

Culture:

Warm, sheltered and moist.
