Common Names:

Salacca sp. 'Padawan'

Habitat:

Only known from a single site, beside a small stream just outside Kuching, Borneo.

Description:

A small, clumping palm, with long, thin, simple, deeply veed leaves. Very attractive.

Culture:

Warm, sheltered and moist. Said to be the most cold tolerant of the small Salaccas.
