The Seychelles Islands of Silhoutte, and Mahe.

Habitat:

Rainforest

Description:

An attractive, medium sized solitary palm to about 10m tall. The young plants have a spiny trunk, and entire leaves, however as the plants age, they lose the spines, and the leaves become irregularly pinnate.

General:

Culture:

Warm, sheltered, and moist. Doesn't like to dry out.
