Distribution & Habitat:

Rainforest in eastern New Guinea.

Description:

A medium sized, densely clustering palm with very slender stems. It has slightly arching leaves, very narrow leaflets, and a greyish crownshaft.

Culture:

Sunny, moist, but well drained position. Prefers warm sub-tropical or tropical conditions.
