New Guinea rainforest
Description:
Thin stemmed palm thought to be of hybrid origin. Has attractive bronze/red new leaves. Young palms are almost indistinguishable from P. waitianum. Mature palms have irregularly arranged grouped leaflets.
Culture:
Warm, sheltered and moist.
