Understory plant from the rainforests of Borneo.
One of the smaller Licualas, up to about 1 metre in height. Its most distinctive feature, however is its naturally mottled leaves, and this makes it very highly sought after.
It is a typical Licuala in its habits, preferring a warm, sheltered, shady position.
