Distribution & Habitat:

Endemic to lowland rainforests on the Malay peninsula.

Description:

A small understory palm with deeply divided, circular fan leaves that have up to 12 segments. It has a short inflorescence that is covered in rust-colored hairs and has bright pink flowers.

Culture:

Warm, sheltered and moist.
