Distribution & Habitat:

Found along ridgetops in wet Thailand rainforest.


A very attractive and elegant palm with a thinnish stem and a large, spreading crown of numerous deeply split leaves, each composed of an orbicular blade held nearly flat at the tip of a long spiny petiole.


Warm, sheltered and moist but well drained.
