Common Names:

Blue Mediterranean Fan Palm

Distribution & Habitat:

Found in the Atlas mountains in Morocco to about 1700m.


Very similar to the standard C. humilis, except that it has silvery-blue waxy leaves like those of Brahea armata


Sunny, well drained position. Very drought tolerant, and very cold resistant. Will thrive in both Mediterranean climates and sub-tropical ones requiring at least a dry season.
