Distribution & Habitat:

Irian Jaya (western New Guinea) rainforest.

Description:

A small/medium, understory palm to about 2.5m (8ft) tall, with large leaves that have irregular width leaflets.

Cultivation:

Warm, sheltered and moist. Tropics/warm sub-tropics.
