Common Names:

Distribution & Habitat:

This is an under-story plant of New Caledonia, from the north-east of Grande Terre (Touho - Ignambi) at between 800m to 1600m elevation.

Description:

It is a small, elegant clustering palm with 5-8 stems. Very similar in appearance to B. gracilis.

Cultivation:

A warm sheltered position with moist, but well drained soil.
