Distribution & Habitat:

Endemic to the Fijian island of Viti Levu where it is found in a variety of forest types, from lowland to submontane elevations.

Description:

A medium sized, solitary palm with a tall thin trunk,and caryotoid leaves.

Cultivation:

Warm sheltered and moist. Tropical requirements.
