J. chilensis X B. capitata
General:
This a rare hybrid bethween a Jubaea chilensis and Butia capitata, rare because this comes from a batch of J. chilensis as mother and B. capitata as pollen donor. Both parents grow very near in the same garden in Argentina, thinking that all the seedlings were Jubaeas, I started to see that some little palms were a lot faster growing and more robust.
Here`s the result after 7 years into ground cultivation in my backyard in Cordoba city.
