Distribution & Habitat:
An emergant palm of the Fijian rainforests.

Description:
A very tall, solitary, feather palm to about 30m, with gracefully arching, dark green leaves, and a bright green crownshaft.

General:
This a very popular ornamental palm throughout the tropics.

Culture:
Sunny, moist, but well drained position, in the tropics or sub-tropics. Prefers shade as a youngster, but grows into full sun. A fast grower.
