Medium sized, solitary fan palm to 10m tall, with a slender, smooth trunk and a dense crown of circular, fan-shaped leaves with silvery-white undersides.Culture:
Sunny, well drained, calcareous soil, in the tropics and sub-tropics. Salt tolerant, but slow growing.
