Synonymy: Hemithrinax ekmaniana Common Names: Trinac (local name) Distribution and Habitat: Open forest, Cuba Description: A medium sized solitary fan palm with very tightly grouped leaves, which give it an appearance like a spiny ball. General: Culture: Sunny, moist, but well drained position.
