Distribution & Habitat:
A very rare palm, found in dry, rocky, hilly areas of Minas Gerais State, in the southeastern subdivision of Brazil.

Description:
A small palm which grows to a max of 1 meter tall. Leaves have long thin, widely spaced leaflets.

Culture:
Sunny well drained areas. Drought tolerant.
