Palms   Salacca multiflora

Distribution & Habitat: Tropical rainforest on the Malay Peninsula. Description: A small to medium sized, clustering, spiny, acaulescent palm with long, thin, entire leaves that are deeply notched at the end; dark green above, white-silvery underneath. Culture: Warm, sheltered and moist. Requires at least warm sub-tropical conditions.
