Rhapis filiformis![]()
R. filiformis is another species from southern China. This palm has leaves with three segments, that are narrow, 30ram across and taper to a point. Inflorescences are yellowish and covered in fine hairs. The inflorescence is many branched with the branchlets being fine and threadlike, hence its epithet filiformis. As with other Rhapis species little is known of the fruit and it is assumed that its cultural requirements would be similar to R. subtilis .
