Habitat:
Rainforest of eastern Madagascar, possibly from a high altitude.

Description:
Small (to about 4m) feather palm, closely related to R. hildebrandtii

General:
Only recently rediscovered, after being lost for 50 years.

Culture:
Warm, sheltered, and moist. Can be rather difficult.
