Habitat:
Comoro Islands rainforest.

Description:
A small feather palm (to about 4m), very similar to a minituare R. rivularis

General:
Once very popular as an indoor palm during the Victorian era, but now rarely seen. Due to the political instability in the Comoros, seed collections are few and far between.

Culture:
Shadey, sheltered, and moist. It apparantly come from limestone derived soils, so it doesn't like acidic conditions.
