Palms   Pinanga punicea

Synonymy: None Common Names: None Habitat: Lowland rainforest of eastern New Guinea. Description: Slender, single trunked palm to about 6m. Normally the palm has a green crownshaft, however, the variety papuana has one that is purple. General: Culture: Tropical in its requirements.
