Lowland rainforest of Borneo.Description:
A very spectacular palm, with long upward pointing leaves, giving a shuttlecock-like appearance. Ususally single stemed, although it may have a few small undeveloped suckers at the base. The leaves can be either pinnately divided, or entire (in the case of the form from Sarawak).Culture:
A moist, well drained sheltered position in the tropics or warm sub-tropics.
