Distribution & Habitat:
Philippines rainforest.

Description:
A small/medium sized clustering palm with very thick, leathery, dark green leaves. The leaflets are very regular and evenly spaced.

Culture:
Warm, sheltered and moist. The leathery leaves probably indicate wind tolerance. Rarely seen in cultivation.
