Distribution & Habitat:
Open forest of South-east Asia, and India.

Description:
A small to medium sized solitary or clumping palm, to about 4m, very similar in appearance to P. roebelenii , but with a plumose leaf.

Culture:
Sunny, well drained, but moist position. Slow growing.
