Distribution & Habitat:
Found in sandy soils in rocky ravines and along cliff bases and ledges in the Kimberley Ranges, mainly the Leopold and Durack Ranges, Western Australia.

Description:
A tall, solitary fan palm to 15m with an open globose crown of up to 40 arching or pendulous leaves.

Culture:
Sunny, moist, but well drained position.
