Distribution:
Thailand and northern Malaysia.

Habitat:
Rainforest in valleys and ravines.

Description:
A very attractive, solitary fan palm up to 5m tall, with large, undivided, dark green leaves to 1.5m across, on petioles up to 2m long.

General:
Very popular with palm collectors.

Culture:
Warm, shady, and moist. The most cold tolerant of the large, undivided leaf Licualas.
