Palms   Latania verschaffeltii

Synonymy: Latania aurea Common Names: Yellow Latan Palm Distribution & Habitat: Cliffs and coastal ravines on the Mascarene Island of Rodriguez. Description: A large, solitary fan palm, with a distinctive yellow colouration to the leaves and petioles. Very similar to L. lontaroides . Culture: A sunny, well drained position. Very hardy.
