Distribution & Habitat:
An emergant palm of New Guinea rainforests.

Description:
A tall, slender, solitary palm with recurved leaves and long, thin, adaxially angled leaflets (similar to Howea belmoreana ).

Cultivation:
Prefers a sheletered position when young, but will tolerate full sun as it matures. Tropical in its requirements.
