Description:
An attractive medium sized palm, to about 12m tall, either solitary or with small number of stems in clump. Crown has up to 12 arching leaves. Stems get a very attractive purple spotting, and fruit clusters are a showy red.

Culture:
Warm, sheltered and moist. Requires moist, tropical conditions.
