Distribution & Habitat:
Endemic to a few limestone ridges of Central Cuba.Description:
A tall, solitary, pinnate palm. It is similar in appearance to Gaussia princeps , but it has broader leaflets giving it a lushier appearance.General:
Very rarely seen in cultivation.Culture:
Sunny, moist, but well drained. Prefers limestone based soils.
