Grows on limestone soils in forest on steep, rugged hills in the Mexican states of Oaxaca, Tabasco, and Veracruz.Description:
A tall, solitary pinnate palm to 12m high. The leaves are made up of long thin leaflets which are arranged in four rows and have a distinctive yellow midrib.Culture:
Sunny, moist, but well drained position in the tropics/sub-tropics. Likes a limestone based soil.
