Distribution & Habitat:
Madagascan central east coast lowlands.

Description:
A small, attractive, clustering Dypsis with thin stems and entire, deeply bifid, corrugated leaves.

Culture:
Warm, sheltered and moist.

Figure 3. This is a second form of D. angustifolia and it has much broader leaves and is a slightly larger plant than
the standard. The leaves will split once the plant becomes mature, simular to D. mocquerysiana .
This is a rare form and is probably extinct in habitat.
