Grows in serpentine soils on the savanna in eastern Cuba.Description:
This palm is the smallest Copernicia, only growing to about 2m. It has stiff, waxy, green fronds, which are whitish underneath, and have a very short petiole. The dead leaves form a skirt around the trunk.Culture:
Full sun in a well drained position. Very slow growing. Drought tolerant.
