Common Names:
Miraguama Palm

Habitat:
Hills and savannah around Cuba.

Description:
A medium sized fan palm, to about 5 metres high. Smallish, rigid fan leaves, dark green above, grayish underneath. The trunk is covered in a hessian like fibrous sheath.

General:
A very attractive plant, although not as popular as it should be due to its slow rate of growth.

Culture:
Full sun to light shade, in well drained sandy soil
