Habitat:
Wet rainforest on the island of Ponape, in the Caroline Islands, east of the Philippines.

Description:
A tall, solitary, emergent palm to about 20m, with a whitish trunk, and long arching leaves.

Culture:
Warm, sheltered, and moist. Plants in south-east Queensland are growing quite well.
