Distribution & Habitat:
Mexican (Sinaloa to Oaxaca) rainforest.
A small/medium sized clumping palm, very similar to Chamaedorea costaricana , and grows to about 3m. Has attractive, finely pinnate leaves.
Lightly shaded, moist, but well drained position. Doesn't like to dry out. Good for warm temperate climates.
