Distribution & Habitat:
Rainforest on the Atlantic and Pcific coasts of Costa Rica.

Description:
A small to medium sized solitary palm which can get up to 4 metres tall, and has glossy green pinnate leaves. Very similar in appearance to C. macrospadix .

Culture:
Warm, sheltered and moist.
