Mexico and Guatemala

Habitat:
Cloud forest.

Description:
A very attractive slender clumping palm to about 4m tall, with deeply notched leaflets. The leaves are dark green above, and light grey/green below.

General:
This palm can be propagated by layering, because the stem nodes will produce roots if kept moist.

Culture:
Shady, sheltered, and moist. Likes it very humid.
