Distribution & Habitat:
Mexico rainforest.

Description:
A very elegant and attractive small/medium sized clustering palm up to 4m tall.

General:
Only recently discovered (by Don Hodel in 1992, during research for his definitive book on Chamaedoreas Chamaedorea Palms - The Species and Their Cultivation), this is said to be one of the most beautifull of the Chameadoreas.

Culture:
A sheltered, moist but well drained position. Frost tolerant but a slow grower.
