Chamaedorea pavoniana ,
Distribution & Habitat:
A small, clumping palm, with simple, deeply divided leaves. Most notably, the male flower exudes a strong fragrance, a great rarity in the palm world.
Warm, sheltered, and moist. Rarely seeds, so plants are usually grown from divisions. A popular palm with collectors.
