Palms   Chamaedorea alternans

Synonymy: Claimed by some to be a synonym for C. tepejilote , but not according to the Monocot List Distribution & Habitat: Mexican rainforest. Description: A small to medium sized solitary palm to about 4m tall. Very closely related to C. tepejilote . Culture: Lightly shaded, moist, but well drained position. Tolerant of light frost.
