A massive palm, to about 20m high, and up to 2m across at the base. It also has rounded leaflets, as opposed to the standard Caryota bat shape (see Figure 1).Culture:
Full sun, well drained position. Very cold tolerant, but unfortunately not nearly as fast growing as some of the more tropical Caryotas .
